Hip deep in feathers

The bad news is that I spent my weekend still sewing feathers. The good news is that this is the last wing section of the red-tailed hawk. The only other pieces are the back wing (which doesn't show much), the tail feathers and the feet. Then I get to figure out how to sew all these parts together.

Then comes the really fun job of figuring out what the background is going to look like...
