Flamingo quilt

Okay, so it is the day before the deadline date. I finished the binding and managed to get a shot of this just before the clouds and pouring rain came in this afternoon. Submission to the St. Augustine Art Association was this afternoon for the Nature and Wildlife show.

This is eighteen inches wide and five feet tall, which is the biggest bird quilt so far. Think there should be a series of these- maybe fish, tortoise and a pelican? What other Florida wildlife would fit?

  1. Alligator? The bird is awesome! If your quilt doesn't make the show, those people should have their heads checked! But that is one big quilt - 5 feet? Wow!

  2. That is quite impressive. I'm afraid I can only recommend Australia fauna as I'm not familiar with the Florida locals.

  3. Just breathtaking! I like the idea of an alligator - make it 5 ft long and 18" high this time!
